Part II
Baba Yaga is an ambiguous figure both goddess and entity in the pantheon of supernatural beings of Slavic folklore.
Often depicted as living in a hut perched on rooster's legs, surrounded by a fence strewn with skulls, and stealing children. We find her in popular Germanic beliefs, in the guise of Huld (or often Perchta) who shakes her pillowcases full of feathers, thus causing snow or frost, and thunders which are heard when she makes move his spool of linen. The Milky Way would have been spun with its spinning wheel. In this way, it controls climatic changes.
Belorussians imagine Baba Yaga behind the storm clouds with his broom, his mortar, his magic carpet, his flying horses, his seven league boots etc.
For Slovaks, Yaga can trigger bad and good weather. In Russia, she has a connection to the thunderstorm; Yaga and her daughters appear as snakes and fly ; their flight causes storms, thunders, earthquakes.
In a popular song, Yaga is called the winter witch : Sun, you saw old Yaga, Baba Yaga, the winter witch, this fierce one, she escaped the spring, she ran away from the righteous, she carried the cold in a bag, shook off the cold on the ground, stumbled and rolled down the hill.
The dualism and ambiguity of Baba Yaga (both abductor and giver) can be compared to the dualism of the cloud which fertilizes the earth in summer and brings rain in winter. Baba Yaga is as much a sun goddess as a chthonian goddess.

Onyx

Its name comes from the Greek Onyx meaning fingernail or claw. It may be a reference to flesh-colored onyx that looks like a fingernail. The onyx is an Agate whose bands are concentric and circular. It is composed of black and/or white bands, however, it is found in all colors (except blue and purple).

In lithotherapy : onyx gives motivation, and helps to act to move forward despite the painful trials of life. It is ideal for remedying energy blockages and emotional wounds of the past. It   gives strength and support in difficult times and helps to find an alternative solution during a life upheaval, whether negative or positive.

On the psychological level, this stone allows you to be more focused on the present moment and not to be distracted. As such, it is an excellent stone to learn about meditation. On a spiritual level, this stone is connected to the heart chakra and the root chakra. On the one hand, its positive action on the root chakra makes it possible to better receive the energies of the Earth. By opening this chakra, onyx promotes grounding. This makes it possible to regulate the primary needs, that is to say the needs related to survival to refocus on the essentials: security, stability, work, money and the will to live. On the other hand, onyx acts on the heart chakra, strengthening feelings of love, sincerity, tenderness, compassion and forgiveness. Like a bridge between material and spiritual energies, the heart chakra brings a great feeling of joy, inner peace and serenity.
