"Astarté" Ring in engraved brass, amethyst and rose quartz faceted for the synergy of the stones which evoked me sweetness, love, protection and pledge of interior peace. To lead fights, it is better to be at peace in my opinion :)
Symbolism of the eight-pointed star represented by the shape of the ring itself. (Yes, the two superimposed squares)
Wings of the deity and its crescent moon in the center.
The ring is 22mm high [at the ends], it is positioned on a size 55FR for the photo (it is ideally adjustable from size 53 to 59 FR)
The metal is always of quality without cadmium, lead, nickel (common allergens)
The creation is accompanied by its case watercolored by me with the effigy of the divinity.
It is a unique creation that I will not reproduce like all my talismans.

Astarteis a goddess of many names, with a story that spans many cultures, many parts of the world, and nearly all of human history. Her influence on modern religions is still strongly felt, and Astarte's touch can be found in surprising places.Mesopotamian deity also known under the Sumerian name of Inanna and Ishtar under her Akkadian name. It has, however, been argued that the character of Astarte is less erotic and more warlike than Ishtar originally was.
Goddess of love and fertility, she is presented in the Mesopotamian Pantheon as a major deity with many powers and in many aspects, such as femininity, the role of mistress of animals, especially wild animals (the lion), and warlike activities. Known as the "mistress of battles" and the deified morning and/or evening star (the eight-pointed star).Often she wears a crescent moon/set of bull horns on her head as a sign of dominance and power. Many depictions also show her with one set or even two sets of wings. It is common for Astarte to appear with overly round hips, which is associated with motherhood and fertility.Nevertheless, his body isSometimespresented as androgynous.
Astarte was officially adoptedbyEgyptian mythology during the 18th dynasty.
His worship was important and special obelisks were made for the purpose of worshiping him. She is considered one of the major gods of Egypt, inasmuch aswarrior goddess associated with the most powerful war machine of the time: the horse and the chariot.
She will later be equated with the Egyptian Isis and Hathor, and in the Greco-Roman world with Aphrodite, Artemis, and Juno, all aspects of the Great Mother.
Most of our holidays (roughly, our holidays) are of Babylonian origin. Take Easter. It is a sweet mixture of pagan and Christian rites. The Christian religious authorities quickly understood that it would be impossible for them to suppress all the “barbaric” traditions. So they made do with it by integrating them into Christian rites.
Easter (Easter in English) and Ostara are none other, by renewed syncretism, than Astarte, goddess of fertility, spring and war.
